    DSI is launching a new seminar series focused on AI for Science, which will highlight advances in science fueled by machine learning and AI as well as advances in AI inspired by scientific challenges. Our inaugural speaker is François Charton, a research engineer at Meta AI.

  • MadPrompts 2024 highlights generative AI during Wisconsin Science Festival

    WARF and the Data Science Institute hosted MadPrompts 2024—a generative AI prompt battle—on October 18 at the Discovery Building. This year’s event featured four competitors from different academic disciplines using generative AI tools to create detailed images, and it introduced a new AI video showcase.
